Quartz counters are engineered stone surfaces. So, unlike natural stones they are non-porous due to the resin used to fabricate them. This makes them stain resistant as well as easy to clean counters. They are however not 100% heat resistant. Although they may resist some degree of heat we always recommend the use of pot holders, trivets, or even cutting boards.

Yes, by leaving a deposit you can set aside the stone of your choosing until you are ready to proceed with your project.

Not finding anything to your liking, we can special order a stone for you. Note: Special orders require a down payment before the stone may be processed.
